120 police officers from Economic Crime Departments from police units in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Podlaskie and Wielkopolskie provinces were trained in April this year at a workshop organised by Sygnal in cooperation with the Police Headquarters. The two-day meetings were held at the Police College in Szczytno and the Police School in Piła. During the training, Signal members discussed the specifics of TV content theft crimes on the internet, presented the association’s recent achievements, and described the extent of cooperation with law enforcement agencies and its effects.
The Police School in Piła hosted the fourth meeting of the educational series on the protection of intellectual property and the fight against TV theft on the Internet, organised by Sygnal in cooperation with the Police Headquarters and the Regional Police Headquarters, on 26-27 January this year.
Almost 80 policemen and policewomen from departments for combating economic crime from the Małopolskie and Świętokrzyskie Voivodeships on 7-8 November this year took part in a training course in Zakopane. This was the third meeting in an educational series on the protection of intellectual property and combating TV theft on the Internet.
At the invitation of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Szczecin, those representing Sygnal, Zbigniew Taras and Paweł Watkowski, participated in the next, fourth edition of the Forensic Science Workshop dedicated to prosecutors and assessors of the prosecutor’s offices of the Szczecin District, organised on 24-26 October in Pogorzelica. The topic of the workshop – “Cybercrime – contemporary challenges of Law Enforcement Agencies”.

Nearly 400 policewomen and policemen have already been trained as the participants of the Internet course prepared by our organization.
On Februar 13, 2020 in Katowice Regional Police Headquarters we completed the nationwide programme of trainings addressed to the police and prosecutors called “piractwo.tv”. We trained 782 police officers and prosecutors of 16 voievodoships.
Demonetization of online piracy was the subject of the workshop organized by Sygnal, which took place on December 6 this year at the headquarters of TVN.
