On March 20, 2024, the annual reporting General Meeting of Sygnał’s members was held, during which the activities of the association in the past year were summarized and the President, members of the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee and the Collegiate Court of the Sygnał Association were elected. The year 2023 was one of the most intense in our activities. It abounded in educational, research and regulatory activities.
Working with law enforcement agencies, we conducted more training sessions for police officers and supported officers during 10 sharing implementations.
We published a report prepared by Deloitte, which presented a detailed analysis of audiovisual content piracy in Poland based on business, technological, legal and social aspects.
Sygnal’s activity in public consultations and participation in industry conferences, such as PIKE and TelSec, confirmed the Association’s role as a strong industry voice.
We took part in the “Golden Badges” awards for police units that particularly distinguished themselves in the effective fight against music, TV and software piracy.
The financial report on activities for 2023 was presented by Treasurer Jakub Kupniewski. The General Assembly of Members unanimously approved the activity report and the financial report, and granted discharge to the Management Board for the past year.
