In 2024, we have expanded our educational activities for law enforcement agencies with specialized trainings prepared for Prosecutors.
The training series is organized by the Department for Cybercrime and Computerization of the National Prosecutor’s Office in partnership with Sygnał Association. Nearly 300 Prosecutors from all over the country took part in the trainings held in February. The day-long trainings cover topics such as the technical aspects of organizing streaming, sharing and IPTV crimes, an overview of the tools used within OSINT, methods for calculating damages, or the latest case law and an overview of the most interesting cases. The trainings are linked to the planned implementation of the streaming case guidelines.
– For years, we have been trying to support law enforcement agencies with our expertise in the area of online audiovisual content infringement, which translates into the effectiveness and efficiency of investigations. Last year, we implemented a nationwide series of training courses for police officers specializing in issues related to the theft of audiovisual content online. One of our priorities for 2024 is to strengthen cooperation with the National Prosecutor’s Office, but also with the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution,” comments Teresa Wierzbowska, President of the Sygnal Association.
