On September 5-6, 2024, the 15th edition of the Training Conference for Uniformed Services took place at the Jan Grodek State University in Sanok. The conference was organized by the Department of Internal Security of the Institute of Social Sciences in cooperation with the Provincial Police Headquarters in Rzeszów. The main theme of the conference focused on procedural principles for collecting, securing, and analyzing evidence in cybercrime cases, as well as the latest trends in this field.
The event gathered representatives from various institutions, including the Police, Prosecutor’s Office, forensic IT experts, and specialists from the commercial sector. Our association, Sygnał, was also represented by Zbigniew Tariaś and Jakub Kupniewski, who had the opportunity to speak during one of the panels.
Our presentation focused on the practical aspects of analyzing evidence related to internet crimes and the capabilities for identifying cybercrime perpetrators. The conference also addressed threats related to modern technologies and effective ways to counter criminal activities online.
