Teresa Wierzbowska, the President of Sygnał presented speech during the conference of the Polish National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) concerning how effectively the advertising industry in Poland has regulated the issue of money going to entities receiving revenues from illegal distribution of content on the Internet.
The ICC conference took place on September, 23, 2019. The topic was: “The New Digital Single Market Directive – ACTA 2 or a reform that got stuck halfway? Blocking websites – global status”.
The conference organized by ICC Polska was attended by representatives of entities entitled under copyright, representatives of collective management organizations and lawyers specializing in intellectual property law. The conference hosted representatives of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Ministry of Digitization.
